About Ben And Benny
Ben And Benny is a series of children’s storybooks that bring to life the things that young children go through as they grow up, such as imaginary friends, wild imaginations, innocence, peer pressure, inner struggles between doing the right things versus the wrong things, etc.
Ben is a young and innocent donkey who happens to be an only child. He has an imaginary friend who is a mouse and whom he called Benny. In each story, Ben finds himself trying very hard to do the right thing, which is doing what his parents tell him to do, and resisting the urge to do the wrong thing, which is listening to Benny and not obeying his parents. He invariably ignores his parents’ instructions and ends up in trouble.
It is hoped that young children will understand the consequences of not obeying their parents’ well-intended instructions and learn from Ben’s mistakes after reading each Ben And Benny story.
